These classic ski lessons are set up in two groups, for kids 5-6 years old and 7-8 years old.

We will have Coaches Alex, Amelia & Natalie as our group instructors. The lessons will be based around games and feeling comfortable / having fun outside & on skis.

Equipment - Ski poles are completely optional for kids 5-6 years of age. What your child will need: WARM, and ideally waterproof pants, jacket and mitts. Proper classic skis with ski boots and bindings (no plastic strap-on skis please), and warm wool socks. A well-fitting hat/toque is also a must.

Please note that it is the parent's responsibility that the child is adequately dressed, warm, and prepared for the ski lesson.

The total cost for the lessons is $250 + GST, for the winter season. Confederation Grooming Fees of $30 and Nordiq Canada / Nordiq Alberta's $22 fees are included in the registration price.

📍 Confederation Golf Course

⏱️ Mondays at 17:30-18:30.

Lessons will occur in a designated, kid-friendly roped-off area. As soon as Confederation Golf Course is safe for skiing, plan to ski every Monday, 17:30-18:30. Address: 3204 Collingwood Dr NW.

The lessons will go on until mid-March, also snow permitting. Plan to ski the entire Calgary ski season.

If the weather at 6:00 pm is forecasted to be at or below -18 Celsius (including windchill), the lesson will be cancelled. We will check the weather at 1 pm on the day of the lessons, on https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/hourly-weather-forecast/alberta/calgary

At the same time of kids lessons, you have an option to register for a parent's learning group, with coach Dasha (2x Olympian, head Coach at Nordic Ski Lab, founder at Space Dogs Ski Club, 14 times Canadian Ski Champion, CANSI & NCCP certified coach.

Parents will have an option to work on skate or classic, in a highly individualized, drill-based setting.

The adult's group price is $300 + GST (it's more expensive because historically parent's groups have been much smaller and more personalized than kids').
